These are a must for breastfeeding mothers. I choose to wear minamalist bras for comfort, so leakage would shurely be a problem for me. These keep me dry and confidant. The one bad thing I have to say is that the appearance of the circular shape is visible through clothing and ruins that smooth, crisp look that you may be going for. It goes away with a more padded bra, if you don’t mind that.

I just left a review on the Babee Greens wool pads but thought I’d leave one here as well, since in my opinion the two together make the perfect system! I have a whole bunch of the organic cotton/hemp pads — they’re great, very absorbent, yet don’t take forever to dry when you wash them. They do shrink a bit to become more oval rather than round, but that’s no big deal. They don’t have a waterproof backing, so if you don’t want to leak through to your bra, I recommend pairing them together with the Babee Greens wool pads (the absorbent layer goes next to your breast to absorb the milk, then the wool pads go between absorbent pad and your bra to create a water-resistant barrier). I’ve been using this system for years and have never had a leak. (Just be sure to lanolize the wool pads occasionally…I don’t even lano them properly, I just wash them in a lano-rich wash like Eucalan and they’re fine) The wool + absorbent pad system is very trim, yet totally effective. I love that the absorbent and leak protection layers are separate, so I can wear the wool pads all day and just swap out the absorbent pads as needed. Buy 2-3 pairs of wool pads and say 12-24 pairs of absorbent pads (depending how much you leak), and you’ll be all set for your nursing career!
