The Babee Greens Story

Babee Greens was born from a simple yet powerful idea: to provide a truly sustainable alternative to conventional disposable diapers and chemically processed cloth options. Established in the Blue Ridge Mountains in 2002, we set out to create high-quality, organic cloth diapers that are gentle on babies, caregivers, and the planet.

As cloth diapering made a resurgence at the turn of the century, we saw a need for truly organic, one-size options that could grow with little ones. That’s when we designed our signature Growing Greens One-Size Fitted Diaper—an investment in both sustainability and comfort. More than a decade later, it remains one of our best-selling products.

At Babee Greens, we believe in ethical, responsible production. Every fabric product is hand-cut and sewn with care by our talented team in Asheville, North Carolina—supporting local artisans and contributing to the rich textile heritage of the region. By keeping our manufacturing in the USA, we ensure high-quality craftsmanship while reducing our carbon footprint.

• Organic Cotton & Hemp Blends – Hemp is one of the most sustainable fibers on the planet, naturally resistant to mold, bacteria, and fungus.

• Natural Wool Products – Made with 100% merino Wool from Oeko-Tex 100 certified yarn, known for its breathability and natural moisture-wicking properties.

• Refashioned Cashmere & Wool Covers – Soft, luxurious, and lined with Oeko-Tex 100 certified merino Wool for superior comfort.

• Hypoallergenic Snaps & Safe Materials – Our resin snaps comply with the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA), and we use 100% unbleached cotton thread with latex-free elastic.
