We’ve been using these for a year now and recently ordered some new ones. We tried both the hemp and 100% cotton versions. The hemps shrank noticeably and are sort of misshapen - too big around the waist and yet too tight around the legs. But we still use them and they have held up well after a year of use. The 100% Cottons held their shape well and after a year of heavy use are still in great condition. We have a large size baby and I do wish they had a little larger size. If the button “wings” were just a little longer, maybe half an inch or so on each side, they would be so much easier to put on and would fit better. Otherwise, we have no complaints. They are expensive diapers, but after a year of heavy use I’m pretty sure they’ve paid for themselves many times over relative to disposables. We use Drops fragrance-free detergent pods with an occasional pre-soak in Borax water. If you buy a bunch of wool blankets to spread out on the floor and over areas where baby will be, you don’t really need to use covers very often. Just lanolize them occasionally. We only use wool covers when going out. Even in the stroller you can spread a small lanolized Babee greens wool blanket and get by without a cover.
